A Message from the ECE Assistant Principal
Mrs. Tesin Amoscato, Assistant Principal

Hello Ehrman Crest Families,
It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I introduce myself as the Assistant Principal of Ehrman Crest Elementary School. I am honored to be a part of this exceptional educational community!
My passion for supporting the success of all students has been shaped over my decade in education. With compassion and kindness at the forefront, I believe in making students feel safe and strive to support inclusive environments that foster belonging, empathy, and perspective-taking.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education from Slippery Rock University, where I majored in Early Childhood and Special Education. Prior to joining the Seneca Valley School District in 2016, I worked in Maryland’s Prince George's County Public Schools as a Special Education Teacher for elementary-aged students with severe and profound disabilities.
During my tenure at Seneca Valley, I attended the University of Pittsburgh and earned my Master of Education in Educational Leadership, along with certifications in Curriculum and Instruction Supervision and K–12 Principalship. My graduate work included administrative experiences with the Allegheny Intermediate Unit, as well as the North Allegheny, Avonworth, and Quaker Valley School Districts.
Before becoming the Assistant Principal of Ehrman Crest Elementary, I served as a Learning Support Teacher at Connoquenessing Valley Elementary and Seneca Valley’s Academy of Choice. I also held the role of Acting Assistant Principal at the Senior High School and at Ehrman Crest Elementary and Middle School. Over the years, I’ve collaborated with colleagues to create and support building-wide student learning opportunities centered around awareness, acceptance, cultural understanding, and kindness. These diverse experiences have provided me with a deep understanding of the challenges and joys of fostering a positive learning environment.
In addition to being an Assistant Principal, I’m also a wife and a mom to a daughter and son, who remind me every day that childhood isn’t something to rush through, it’s something to be protected, nurtured, and deeply understood. That truth is the heartbeat of my work. I want school to be a place where learning feels joyful, where every child feels seen and celebrated, and where belonging isn’t a bonus, it’s a given. I believe students flourish when they are known, respected, and surrounded by adults who lead with compassion and dignity.
I’m committed to building inclusive, responsive systems that evolve with the ever-changing needs of our students. My mission is to create the conditions where every child can grow not just as a productive and contributing citizen, but as an empathetic, resilient, and resourceful human being. I believe in the daily, deliberate choice to show up with care. Whether it’s a quiet check-in or a steady presence, I’ve learned that impact often lives in the small moments. I hold close the words, “Do small things with great love,” because I believe real change happens through thoughtful actions rooted in empathy.
It’s an honor to walk alongside educators, students, and families in this work, and I approach it with deep purpose, fierce commitment, an open heart, and an open mind.
Warmly,
Tesin Amoscato
